It’s these days when strolling around Andalusian towns and enjoying their culture and gastronomy becomes one of the best things to do, and it’s always worth keeping an eye out for autumn events and exhibitions that can spring up in Spanish towns and villages during the low season.
For an autumn-winter weekend in Malaga, we’d like to recommend the colourful Hilma Af Klint’s exhibition that the Picasso Museum in Malaga is hosting.

The paintings by the Swedish artist are of enormous size and are filled with abstract shapes and peaceful colour combinations. Watching Klint’s work will bring you optimism and inspiration to step into the Autumn. We think it’s a must before it’s gone next February.
After that, we’d suggest to go to one of our favourite tapas bars in the vibrant capital of the Costa del Sol: Tapeo Cervantes. Situated in Cárcer street 8, this cute little bar serves a wonderful selection of wines and tapas based on traditional local ingredients with a twist of modernity and international influences. Definitely one to try!
