The Soul of Cordoba after Dark

Circuit tours visiting the Spanish MonumentsCordoba, once the political and spiritual centre of Al Andaluz, the Islamic caliphate that brimmed with high culture, learning and above all tolerance of other cultures, stood as a jewel for the envy of all Europe.

This excursion is a very exciting initiative to unveil this city’s past and extraordinary beauty by visiting it after dark.

For this very special evening tour we depart for Cordoba in the afternoon.

After a relaxing stroll through the old quarter, we will enjoy a traditional tapas dinner. The Night Visit to the Cathedral of Cordoba, a former mosque, is a new and exciting way to see the Temple through the use of advanced technology lighting, sound and projections.

These magical effects help to give the visitor a deeper understanding of the monument; the historical perspective, the architecture and its religious significance.

Our Cordoba tour starts in the ‘Patio de los Naranjos’ with an audiovisual guide that takes you on a journey through the history of the monument and the city. You will then enter the temple and take a tour of its major milestones highlighted by the sound and lighting, which builds up gradually during the visit.

Explanations are given to the visitors through a set of headphones so each visitor can enjoy this unique monument in their own personal way.

Please note that this tour leaves to return to the hotel at approximately  01.00
