Following the huge success of our Semana Santa Holy Week in Seville tour last Easter, we have decided to repeat the experience for 2014.
So we are pleased to announce that bookings are now being taken for our exclusive tour to Seville on 16th April to witness the 2014 Holy Week parades in complete Toma style!
We have rented one of the largest balconies available in the centre of Seville which overlooks the Easter parades for a birds-eye view of the action. Our 33metre front row balcony space will give you the best possible view of the “Salida” and the “Entrada” of the Brotherhood of Cristo de Burgos, and we have special hospitality laid on for this fantastic event.
If you have never been to Seville during the Holy Week / Semana Santa then you are truly in for a treat!
The public devotion and respect of the hundreds of thousands of people on the streets lulls the visitor into an awe inspired delight. One thing is seeing the processions from the packed streets, but even more of a privilege is to see one from the comfort and vantage point of a private balcony.
Your transport for the event will leave Marbella just after lunchtime on Wednesday 16th April accompanied by our own Spanish cultural expert, Manni Coe.
We will travel to Seville, settle ourselves into our venue for the evening and meet its hospitable American owner, and prepare to enjoy an unforgettable evening of tradition, passion and religious fervor.
Throughout the evening we will be serving a selection of tapas and freshly sliced Jamón, together with drinks and refreshments. We also have a very special treat in store, as we are honoured to have our very own Saetero singing a traditional Easter Saeta from OUR balcony!
For anyone who is curious to discover the deep rooted tradition of Semana Santa this is your perfect opportunity. This tour will also appeal to artists, photographers, musicians and anyone who has a passion for Spanish Customs and Cultures.
During the evening you are free to head down to the streets to mingle with the crowds, and Manni will be on hand at all times to explain all the action as it happens. Your transport will return to Marbella at approximately 5am on Thursday 17th April, and the price includes food and drinks throughout the evening.
We do have limited spaces for this tour so please book early to avoid disappointment. Email enquiries@tomatours.com to reserve your spot today! The trip is priced at just €125 per person, which includes return transport from Marbella, the services of our Cultural Expert, Manni Coe throughout the trip, the use of the private balcony with the view of the procession (you are free to come and go as you please of course!) freshly cut Jamon and tapas, and songs from our very own Saetero who we have booked to sing for us privately from our balcony.
This is set to be the kind of experience that memories are made of!
