The hotels were all perfect for experiencing the locations, the transportation was very well organized and stress free, the guides were very good (even thought provoking) and the experiences were very, very special. The last 110km of the Camino de Santiago with Manni and Toma & Coe is nothing short of a life changing experience. What you get with Manni and his assistant José is an experience full of observation, wander and awe. Manni is the most passionate pilgrim I have had the fortune to meet, and his passion is so palpable as part of this experience, you get to understand the nuances of the Camino and so many details and pieces of information that would otherwise be easily missed. You are welcomed, respected and cherished as an individual in the group, making friendships that will last a lifetime. Trip of a Lifetime! What a journey! A week of walking the Camino with Manni and Pepito ( The absolute best!) We started in Ourense with 12 total. What began as a group of people I had never met ended with a true Camino family. We formed friendships that will continue forever. Every little detail was taken care of by Manni and the staff at Toma and Coe. Our Camino Experience with Toma & Coe It’s difficult to put into words just how special our recent Camino de Santiago experience with Toma & Coe truly was. The organisation, planning, and execution of our seven days together were nothing short of sublime. Every detail was handled with precision and care, and both the accommodation and the culinary experiences along the way exceeded our expectations by a considerable margin. We were incredibly fortunate to walk with Manni and Pepito, two extraordinary human beings whose warmth, humour, and deep knowledge of the Camino enriched every step. They guided us with genuine care and attention, and their presence was an absolute gift to the whole group. And then there was the group itself—the real magic fairy dust. From our very first briefing on the Sunday evening through to our arrival in Santiago’s cathedral square, ten strangers became a tight knit family. Despite spanning ages from our 20s to our 60s, we bonded instantly, shared stories, supported one another, and created memories that will last a lifetime. We have no doubt these friendships will endure. A special mention must go to Marivi, one of our Camino angels. My son and I chose to spend an extra day at both the start and end of our trip. Without hesitation, Marivi reached out to ask whether we’d like her to arrange the additional transfers, transport, and accommodation. She handled everything seamlessly and communicated each detail with clarity and warmth. It made the entire experience effortless. We walked the final 108 kilometres from Ourense to Santiago in late April and early May 2026—nine remarkable days in total, six of them walking. Ten strangers became one family, and we completed a journey that will stay with us forever. We wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend Toma & Coe—in fact, we already have, enthusiastically and without reservation. A little bit of magic happened at Mangerton House.  I arrived not having done any creative writing since childhood.  Guided by Manni Coe and Joanna Quinn I rediscovered by creative spark in the company of 9 wonderful ladies who encouraged and inspired me.  I returned home with an unexpected belief in my ability to write and the confidence to embark on my project with enthusiasm. SUPERLATIVE WRITER'S RETREAT, Dorset March 2026 It's difficult to describe what happened on this wonderful writing retreat with Toma & Coe, where ten aspiring writers came together under the care and tuition of the wonderfully brilliant Manni Coe and Joanna Quinn. Every aspect of the experience was superlative; from the exquisite luxe location, Mangerton House, nestled in a Dorset valley, with its pools and saunas and excellent food, to the effort and energy - and friendship that was extended. Lessons on both the craft and psychological elements of the writing journey were addressed. A third, prize-winning surprise author also visited to share their writing story. My husband, Dave, and I participated in TOMA & COE‘s first Al Andalus tour with Manni Coe & author Jason Webster, noted expert on the region in Spain. From start to finish, we enjoyed seeing and learning about many historical sites, stayed in great hotels, had wonderful food and overall truly enjoyed our six days with them and the other participants on the tour. Manni Coe was a delightful host and made the trip a lot of fun along with learning so much about that region of Spain. Magical A fantastic week of learning, eating, writing, walking and forming new friendships. The house is really unique, beautiful, eclectic and welcoming. A Leap Forward in My Writing Journey The writers' retreat was everything I had hoped and more. Thrice in a liftime... Our first trip with Erin (yogadiva.com), Manni and Pepito of (tomaandcoe.com) won’t be our last! Part one of the Camino was amazing from our arrival into Malaga, our swim in the sea to our Camino journey to Córdoba and ☀️GRANADA! ☀️. My daughter and I both appreciated the attention to detail, flawless logistics, first class accommodations, and brilliant cuisine . The team of Erin, Pepito and Manni cannot be beat. Their knowledge of Spain, it’s people, history and the Camino is deep and colorful. For me The Camino has been a gift that have given to myself. One that has been years in the making.  Walking The Camino is like disappearing into an ancient land that comes alive before my very eyes. I have been fortunate to travel and complete Part 1, 2, and 3 with TOMA & COE and have appreciated all that goes into making each part a successful and meaningful shared experience. Each Camino has been a unique adventure filled with laughter, tears, and sweat. Each day is filled with hiking vast lands and discovering ancient ruins and modern cities. Connections are made within the pilgrim group, I appreciate that there is time to socialize as well as take time to self-reflect. Yoga is an integral part of each day as this allows time for the body /mind to integrate The Camino experience. With each Camino experience, I take in the beauty of the spacious land and allow my brain, body, and soul to gather new perspectives. Letting go of limitations that I often place upon myself, I have learned to trust and to embrace the wisdom of The Camino.  We call this "Camino Magic" and there is truly something special about traveling an ancient path that is healing. From day one, Marivi was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us put together our Andalucia tour.  Her guidance as to places to see, times in locations and her love of Spain was all clear in every correspondence.  We want to express our sincere gratitude for the fantastic tour you provided. The itinerary was well-planned, the guides were knowledgeable, and the entire experience was truly memorable. Starting with our transfer from Lagos with Edwardo, who was an excellent driver and very knowledgeable about the area.  We made a brief stop in Tavira, and he told us a lot about the town and its history. As I have already commented, Marina in Seville was fantastic and provided us with a great tour and much information about Seville and the many sites. In Cordoba, our guide was very pleasant and told stories of the Mesquita and other sites that made us think about living in the times they were built as well as the information about the inquisitions. Andres who drove us from Seville to Cordoba was quieter than the others but answered all our questions. Alex who drove us to Granada, was friendly, and informative told us a lot about the white hill towns. In Granada Robert was a great guide at the Alhambra as well as very helpful in getting us into a local restaurant for a fantastic dinner. Writing Retreat in Gaucin, Spain Thanks to Toma & Coe, the writing retreat I attended was superb. Everything, including the inn, La Fructuosa, that we stayed at, the excellent meals, and the scenic views was orchestrated to perfection. Our days were well-organized with a blend of workshops led by Joanna Quinn, talks given by Manni Coe, private coaching, and time off to write, walk, and share our writing with fellow writers. Truly Exceptional Writers’ Retreat I had little idea of what to expect from this Writers’ Retreat in Andalucia. But if I’d been asked to create my ideal cocktail of like-minded souls, expert tuition, and delicious food in an unpretentiously beautiful location, this would have been it. We were housed in the wonderful Hotel La Fructuosa in Gaucin, a jewel of a village high in the hills of Southern Spain. Rooms were completely individual, beautifully decorated with antique furniture and the views down to Gibraltar were unparalleled. The sun soon burned through the early morning mists revealing blue skies and sunshine warm enough to enable Al fresco lunches on the terrace … in November! It didn’t matter how far along you were in your writing project, or if you even had one at all. A taste of Spain visiting historic cities, hiking the back roads and eating local food. Every excursion was just what we wanted, historic cities, beautiful hiking trails, the Caminito del Rey was breath taking along the gorge and the local food was delicious. Our guide Mayte was very easy to be with she became one of the family. Learned about the history of Spain talked about present day life in Spain, learned some Spanish and went to local restaurants. A unique and fulfilling experience . Attention to detail removed made everything comfortable and enjoyable. This was a writers retreat hosted by Manni Coe and Joanna Quinn, authors of memoir and fiction. We learned so much about being creative; about how to step through writer’s block; how to dig deep into the past and make a picture painted with words.We stayed at the fabulous Fructuosa Hotel in Gaucin, perched on a hilltop, with views down to Gibraltar and Africa, swirling morning mists giving way to hot sunshine. Our Glamino with the wonderful Manni from Toma and Coe was perfect. The hotel was magical - wonderful food, cozy atmospheric, beautiful rooms and grounds and sunny terraces to enjoy the last rays of sunshine after long walks. The walking was so memorable - stunning paths through forests and streams and gentle hills with wild flowers all the way. Our Experience with Toma and Coe was excellent.  Marivi was on top of everything before and during our trip.   She was available whenever I reached out and was instrumental in moment to moment requests.    We had a vegetarian on the trip and she provided us with excellent suggestions for dining. My husband and I used Toma & Coe to plan our recent trip to Andalusia Spain and were more than happy, in fact delighted, with the service, the planning and the attention we received. The agency set up private drivers, private guides, tours, etc for our 12 day trip. They were wonderful to work with in that they were fine with my booking our hotels as I am very particular about where I stay. They will do as much or as little as a client wishes. We felt like we got a tremendous value for the money we spent. The drivers and guides were exceptional - the best of the best! We learned so much from them all about the history and culture of the country. We would not have had the rich experience we did had we driven ourselves. Everything worked like clockwork with guides and drivers being on time and being highly professional. We (there were two of us) used Toma & Coe to plan our 3-week trip mostly in Andalusia.  We worked with Fernando Monton to plan our trip, and he was wonderful.  We wanted a slower-paced trip, staying longer in various places—we did not want to be moving every day but instead wanted time on our own to explore.  Our key request was to have good guides in every city at the begining of the stay for a thorough introductory walking tour. Fernando arranged our train tickets, our hotels, drivers to and from our hotels, our guides,  tickets for special events (flamenco dancing at the Flamenco Dance Museum in Seville (we had reserved front row seating)), a wine tasting, visiting a small family olive farms; restaurant reservations (he got us reservations when we couldn’t for a famous restaurant in Valencia); etc. etc.  We communicated with Fernando on What’s App if we needed anything or had questions.. In sum,  the itinerary he prepared for us was excellent, the guides were excellent, the drivers were excellent and Fernando was excellent.  Highly recommended.

I can't say enough good things about Toma & Coe. Fernando did an amazing job helping us plan a 12-day trip to Andalucia for our family of 5. The bespoke agenda they provided gave us the opportunity to experience the cultural, culinary and historical highlights of the region with private guides, as well as enough free time to explore other areas on our own. Each of the guides were extremely knowledgeable, personable and entertaining. They were also all very considerate and accommodating to my 75 year old father who has mobility issues. All their hotel and restaurant recommendations were exceptional. Our favorite hotel was in the countryside outside of Ronda - with spectacular views, friendly staff and spacious suites. All of our drivers were friendly and provided additional insights and information about the region. Fernando was very attentive both in the planning and during our trip. Amazing! Went with friends to walk part 2 of the Camino de Santiago from Cordoba to Salamanca. Everything was GREAT! Walking the Camino was so peaceful & the hotels we stayed in were top notch ! Manni as our guide made sure we were all taken care of! Erin was wonderful also, leading us in relaxing yoga which was much needed after our long walks! Fernando was the best in finding us places to stay & transportation on our extended visit! We had the pleasure of having Natalia as our tour guide while we visited Spain; I can honestly say she was amazing! Truly a caring, nice, accommodating, and knowledgeable tour guide. We visited several places with Natalia, such as the family winery Vetas. They were very welcoming as well and have extensive knowledge in what they do… needless to say the wine is divine ! We also toured other places such as Ronda, Setenil, Frigiliana, Nerja, Marbella, and Puerto Banus…beautiful places with delicious foods!!! Overall, we had an amazing time and are very thankful for Natalia taking her time to explain everything and tour us (not as a tour guide, but as a friend). We had an excellent time on our day excursion.  This was a trip I planned for my team coming from the US and the UK and everyone enjoyed it immensely.  We had time to stop off at a town and wander around a bit and then off to an amazing winery in the countryside with an excellent tour and views not to mention the fantastic tapas followed by lunch.   The tour guide Mayte was very friendly and knowledgeable and I learned things I didn't know even after living here for 2 years.   Overall the experience was remarkable and I would highly recommend the company and our guide over any tour nearby. We enjoyed a fabulous trip to Madrid and Andalucia with the help of Toma and Coe. Fernando and Manni did a perfect job of arranging all the details we needed help with while also allowing plenty of flexibility for us to arrange the things we wanted on our own. Manni suggested fabulous hotels that I'm sure I would not have found on my own. All of the properties were smaller boutique hotels which gave us a much more authentic feeling experience for our trip. We hated to leave each hotel but then would find the next hotel to be even better. We had 3 private tours that were all exceptional. Each guide offered the perfect mix of history and facts with their own personal stories about the area. They all added so much to our trip! Fernando did an excellent job helping us out with restaurants, transportation, and last-minute details. I had so many questions before we left but he answered them all patiently and thoroughly. Any problems we had while we were in Spain he quickly resolved and even helped out with figuring out our rental car return even though I had booked that on my own. The attention to detail was absolutely outstanding and the guides that were booked for us in each location (Seville, Cordoba, Granada, Ronda) were exceptional! 10 Stars out of 10!! When I walked the Camino from Salamanca to Santiago de Compostela with Toma and Coe in June of 2022, even my highest expectations were exceeded.  As the leaders, Manni and Erin are incredibly dedicated to providing the personal attention that can make all the difference on a trip like this.  I was challenged (in a good way!) both physically and spiritually while supported not only by Manni and Erin, but by my fellow Peregrinos as well, who were warm, intelligent and offered camaraderie and good fun at the end of every day.  The accommodations were all first rate, offering both comfort and a sense of history.  The route was spectacular and allowed plenty of time to contemplate the natural beauty, in silence if you wanted or chatting with friends if you preferred.  The meals – whether casual or upscale dining – were fabulous, and attention was always paid to any food allergies or preferences you needed to have accommodated.  While on the trail we were able to stay in touch with our group of 14 using What’s App, so you never had to worry about taking a wrong turn or getting support if you needed it.  The logistics were impeccable.  The BONUS was that this adventure really did change my life in ways that are too personal to post. Camino Magic Having heard the term Camino Magic, which refers to the unexplained good fortune, synchronicity, and connections along the path, I realized that much of that would not have been apparent without the magician - Manni Coe.  On our recent trek on the Camino Mozarabe, he imbued the journey with incredible insights, cultural knowledge, and guidance - all with humor, patience, and good spirit. This was truly an unbelievable tour experience! Natalie drive and was our tour guide. She picked us up in a very comfortable 9 person van (6 in the tour and Natalie) and we weee so very comfortable! Her knowledge, her driving skills, the history she shared was all a 10! Took us to a winery where we weee given a tour, and a tasting which was as good as any winery tasting we have ever experienced and we are from CA. From there we took another short ride to Ronda (one of the White Villages) where Antonio Jesus Naranjo was our guide (always ask for him, he has been a guide for many Global Dignitaries). We started w the famous Bullpen with all its history and glamour and proceeded to the small and colorful streets, old buildings and then the old bridges… They selected a magical restaurant for lunch and before lunch we had time to stop for a few carafes of Sangria… so so good. Overall we could not have dreamed of a better tour and tour guides. Final shout out to Fernando who was very attentive and helped plan the tour and his communication h be is email to get this set up. My sister was married May of 2017 and for her wedding gift I didn’t want to get the usual household items so I looked into getting her an experience instead that can be used during her honeymoon to Spain. I began looking into tour guides that can help them have an amazing experience without having to do any planning. That’s when I found Toma & Coe who was highly reviewed for their tours all over Spain and even into Morocco. I began my lengthy email correspondence with Fernando who was incredibly responsive providing information about making international payments to creating a trip itinerary for their trip to Morocco. My sister and brother in law had a fantastic private tour into Morocco with Fernando and will hopefully have memories to last much longer than anything else I could have purchased. Fernando did a great job of combining historical information and a fun time! We had a great time touring Tangier, and he also gave us some extra tips and recommendations for the rest our trip to make our honeymoon amazing.  Thank you again Fernando and Toma and Coe!! Toma and Coe operate a first class business.  I recently spent 9 days with them on a Camino pilgrimage in Andalucia.  They went out over and beyond in making it an authentic, spiritual experience. I just returned from a 9 day tour of beautiful Andalucia with this amazing tour company. It was the best trip I have ever made!!! Manni and Pablo took such good care of us! I'm on a customized tour now of the Camino Mozarabe with 11 American yoga students who are serious world travelers. Manni and Pablo have set the excitement bar so high with their loving and thoughtful attention to detail. Toma & Coe (Manni, Pablo and Fernando) have left my group simply ecstatic! We went to Andalusia in January 2013, and took two tours with Manni : Granada and Jerez. We had such a wonderful time of seeing, tasting, learning and laughing. It felt like an old friend of ours was showing us places he has known intimately and loves dearly. Manni has outstanding people skills and professionalism. He genuinely cares about his customers and will make sure everyone is happy. He went out of his way to show us Andalusia from an insider's perspective, which is what makes TOMA Tour so different (and awesome). Making arrangements with Manni was a breeze and he was on time to pick us up in the morning, happy and ready to share his love and knowledge of Spain. We're planning on going back to Andalusia over the next few years and TOMA Tours will most definitely be part of our experience next time again. Bravo and thank you Manni and TOMA Tours! Toma Tours are on the right track with Mr Henderson's Railway! We all know the delights of being shown around a new city by a knowledgeable friend who lives locally and who can show us places and take us to restaurants that we would never find on our own. Taking a trip on Mr Henderson's Railway with Toma Tours was just like that for us. Our group of four were looked after like old friends by Manni, the owner and founder of Toma Tours. His warmth, knowledge and love of Spain shone through as he expertly guided us from the delights of the Hotel Reina Cristina in Algeciras and onwards for the the railway journey before a delicious lunch at a top, trackside restaurant. Our day continued with a guided walking tour in Ronda, first at the Reina Victoria hotel (sister hotel of the Reina Cristina at the other end of Mr Henderson's Railway) and then via Ronda's attractions including the Bullring and the magnificent outlook from Puente Nuevo spanning the deep gorge for which Ronda is well-known. We had a wonderful, memorable day and if this is representative of the many different trips organised byToma Tours, I would recommend them without hesitation, to anyone.
