Itinerary
We begin our journey at a viña or vineyard, to find out why the best wines cannot be produced without the best grapes in the right soil, and from there we will follow the journey of the wine right through from the grape to the glass.

Arrival:
From Malaga we head to our base in Jerez.
Malaga has direct flights from the USA, Europe and beyond. It is reachable from Madrid on the high-speed AVE train which takes under 3 hours.
Departure:
We return to our base in Malaga.
If you wish to carry on your tour of Andalucia from Jerez, the train to Seville takes around an hour.

The Sherry Triangle is in the Cadiz province of Andalucia. It is known for its production of sherry, a fortified wine. The cities of Jerez de la Frontera, Sanlucar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa Maria are the points on the triangle.
What is the best sherry in Spain?
As with all food and drink this really is a matter of personal taste. However, some of the best sherries come from the three towns of the Sherry Triangle. On our tour, you will get to taste sherries from five bodegas so you can choose!
What is the most popular Spanish sherry?
The top selling brands are Tio Pepe and La Ina. Within Spain the Manzanilla from Sanlúcar de Barrameda – which is pale and dry – outsells other sherries.
Is sherry drunk before, during or after a meal?
Generally, sherry is an aperitivo drunk before a meal. It is popular in many Spanish bars at ‘tapas hour’, around 6pm, enjoyed with olives or almonds. That’s not to say you won’t find some people drinking it after the meal.
Is sherry more alcoholic than normal wine?
Yes, as sherry is a fortified wine, it has a higher alcohol content between 15% and 20% ABV.
