About the tour
TOMA & COE has teamed up with a professional cycling company offering superb bikes to create this unforgettable trip through some of the most glorious, unspoilt Andalucian landscapes.
A number of abandoned railways around Spain lay in disuse until local authorities worked to convert them into “Via Verdes” (Green Routes) of cycle paths. This one stretches for 38 kilometres through olive groves and verdant hills, taking you from one picturesque hilltop town to the next.
Most of the terrain along the route is flat or downhill, so this trip is feasible for anyone with a moderate fitness level.
After departing from the coast around 9am, we will collect our bikes at the departure point in Olvera near Ronda, and cycle to the end of the Via Verde at Puerto Serrano in Cadiz province.
You’ll have the luxury of a one-way ride, as we will leave our bikes at our final destination. We then finish the tour at a cosy tapas restaurant for re-fuelling (price not included) before heading back to the coast. An exhilarating and memorable day!
